Job Description
Subject matter expert for the technical offering of several HP and 3rd party solutions in the Document Capture area (including HP DSS, Kofax Document Exchange Server, Kofax Ascent Capture, Kofax XtrataPro, NSi Autostore, Omtool Accuroute, eCopy), as a part of the Solutions team for IPG (Imaging & Printing group) Commercial space.
This position involves networking with industry leaders and partners, using know-how to contribute to the technical positioning of the several solutions in HP portfolio, training & marketing material creation and lead generation activities; as well as influencing future HP/IPG solution strategies.
With that focus, candidate shall demonstrate excellent knowledge of the required Technologies to support EMEA (Europe, M-East & Africa) Solutions business in collaboration with other Solutions team members (Enterprise Solution Consultants and Solution Business Developers), Category Mgrs., Product generation Organizations and different field organizations (Technical Pre-sales Consultants, Post Sales
Technical Support, etc).

Key areas of responsibility:
- Build EMEA-recognized experience in assigned solution area based on detailed understanding of 3rd party solutions offering based on deep technology insight
- Deep understanding of concrete offering of existing solutions in the area of interest
(Document Capture), and how these are integrated into HP devices
- Knowledge of competitive landscape of HP+Solutions versus competitors+Solutions
- Support Solutions Marketing team, sales and supporting sales functions with content related to expertise area.
- Support awareness generation for IPG offering by offering deep insights in partner solutions value-add and use models
- Understand customer needs and create adequate value propositions
- Support design & architecture of end-to-end technology solution offering for customer through deep knowledge of products and solutions in Document Capture space.
- Maintain network with solution partners, world-wide sales teams and industry leaders
- Lead different partners to offer a combined and integrated customer solution
- Closely linked to EMEA and world-wide presales, and Product Generation organizations in HP
- Share best-practices related to 3rd party solutions
- Collaborate in partner positioning and value add from technical perspective, to create and maintain a comprehensible solutions portfolio
- Support Events through Technology presentations and demonstrations
- Define generic tools and demos for partner solutions required by sales force. Define & maintain a proper infrastructure for region-wide demo purposes.
- Support customer-related activities for customers & partners when needed, in coordination with sales and marketing teams, through escalation consultancy for products & solutions.
